Since 2021
Diet Proof Atelier began as a table of scraps in a two-bedroom flat in Ikoyi. We wanted clothes that felt like the women who wore them — direct, quiet, and unbothered.
Today we cut small batches — twenty pieces of a dress, thirty of a set, sometimes just eight of a headwrap — from Nigerian and West African fabric, in the same studio, by the same three hands.
The house rules
We do not scale to fit demand — the studio is the size of the studio.
Every piece is drafted, cut and sewn in one room in Ikoyi. No outsourcing.
Drops are numbered and archived. What is gone is gone.
Adire from Abeokuta, aso oke from Iseyin, linen from mills we have visited.
Get on the list
One email, a week before every drop. Preview the pieces, hold a size before the site does. That is all it does.
